Calling these brownies would be wrong. They are so much better! The bottom layer is a fudgy
brownie, then, a layer of marshmallow cream, then Rice Krispies with peanut butter and melted chocolate chips. The textures work so well together!
They cut so pretty, and look so special on a platter.

Gabbi’s Chocolate Chewy Bites
Brownie layer:
1 C. Butter, softened
2 C. Sugar
4 eggs
6 T. Cocoa
1 C. Flour
2 tsp. Vanilla
1/2 tsp. Salt
In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar. Add the eggs. Stir in the cocoa, flour, vanilla, and salt. Spread into a greased 9” x 13“ pan. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes or until the brownies test done. Remove from oven, and cool.
1 7 oz. jar marshmallow cream
Spread the marshmallow creme over the cooled brownies.
1 C. Creamy peanut butter
2 C. Chocolate chips
3 C. Rice Krispies
In a sauce pan, melt together the peanut butter and chocolate chips. Be careful not to scorch. Stir the mixture smooth and add the cereal. Pour the warm cereal over the marshmallow cream. Smooth flat. Cover with plastic wrap and set in the fridge for 2 hours. Cut into 1 inch squares. Place on a serving platter. Watch them disappear.
